Register and Create Your Account on the Maryland PSC Website

Creating an account on the Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) website is the first step toward engaging with the CPCN process, staying informed, and participating effectively. By registering, you’ll gain access to the PSC’s electronic filing system (e-file), which allows you to submit comments, follow dockets, and receive updates about important cases like the Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project (MPRP).

Registering with the PSC website provides you with tools to:

  • Engage in the CPCN process, including submitting public comments and monitoring case developments.
  • Receive notifications about public hearings, procedural updates, and Commission rulings.
  • Access detailed case documents and filings.

With your PSC account, you’re ready to participate and ensure your voice is heard in the decision-making process. For additional support, visit the PSC’s Help Page or contact their technical team directly.

Below is a step-by-step guide to help you register and create your account on the MD PSC website. Each step is accompanied by clear instructions and is paired with screenshots for easier navigation.

Step-by-Step Instruction to Register

Step 1: Access the MD PSC's Registration Page

  • On the homepage, locate the "e-File" section in the upper right hand corner.
  • Alternatively, go directly to the registration page: PSC Registration Page.

Step 2: Complete the Registration Form

Fill out the required fields:

  • Full Name: Enter your first and last name.
  • Email Address: Provide a valid email for account communication.
  • Username: Choose a unique username for your account.
  • Password: Create a secure password that meets the listed requirements.

Step 3: Verify Your Email

  • Check your inbox for a confirmation email from the PSC.
  • Click the verification link in the email to activate your account. If you don’t receive the email, check your spam folder or contact the PSC for assistance.

Step 4: Log In and Explore Your Account

Return to the PSC website and log in with your new username and password. From your account dashboard, you can:

  • Subscribe to dockets.
  • Submit written comments.
  • Follow filings and updates.

Please Note: We are providing this summary information for your convenience. Please refer to the official PSC documents for any additional questions. If any of this information conflicts with PSC information, the PSC information takes precedence.
